Hi All,
Happy Halloween! Logan and Hannah got a double dose of Halloween,
with a Halloween Parade and party in our neighborhood on Saturday, and then
the real thing on Wednesday.
The kids had a great time. Hannah's bag was so full, Mommy had to
carry it home.

Hi Everyone,
Logan turned 6 on Tuesday - the boy is growing up fast! We threw a
bowling party for him and 12 of his friends came to bowl. Partway
through the party, as I was helping Logan hold his bowling ball, Logan
whispered in my ear, "this is the best day ever, thanks Daddy". So I
think he had a good birthday. My parents drove in from Iowa and just
made it to his party, which made it even the more special. Hannah got
to have some of her friends there too, so she had a good time. Fun to
watch her bowl since the bowling ball almost weighs as much as she does!
Thanks to everyone for sending all of the gifts - our children are truly
blessed (and spoiled!)

Hi All,
This one is a little out of order since I wanted Logan's birthday pics to
be first. Here are some pictures of Rocky Mountain National Park.
What a beautiful place. We took my parents there and no more than a
mile in and we saw a herd of elk. Truly God's Country...

Hi All,
It's only been a day since posting new pictures, but it snowed this
morning so we got some photos of Logan & Hannah playing in the snow.
They were just giddy over it. Even got to build a snowman. It's
sunny now and most of the snow has melted - so the kids are very interested
to see what happens to the snowman...

Hi Everyone,
We got the kids to the pumpkin patch earlier this week. It was a
pretty neat place - basically a farm turned into fun for kids - from goats
to hay bale mazes to barrel rides, they did it up right. The fields of
pumpkins were huge and on the way out Logan and Hannah got to feed the cows
and buffalo. How cool is that?
I got some pictures of Logan playing soccer today. I have to say,
Logan is really starting to get in there. His team, "The Sharks",
played the team that creamed them in their first game of the season.
It was good to see that they didn't get creamed nearly as bad this time
around - making progress!

Hi All,
Today was Hannah's birthday - Happy 4th Hannah! Lisa and I have
been struggling all day with the reality that our little Hannah has turned
4. Instead of throwing a party, we decided to fill the day with fun
for Hannah. Yesterday, when I took Logan to soccer, Lisa and Hannah
went to get their nails painted. Of course, Hannah picked the
brightest color of pink. It's a color I don't believe I've ever seen
before, it's so bright it almost glows in the dark!
When she got up this morning, she opened a couple of presents and saved
the rest for this afternoon. Unbelievably, she did pretty well with
that concept.
We then took the kids to the Ringling Bros. Circus. They had a
blast. Lisa got us front row tickets, which was pretty amazing seeing
the animals and performers up close. Hannah said her favorite part was
the tigers.
When we got home, Hannah opened the rest of her presents and played until
we took her out to dinner at the Red Robin. They sang to her for her
birthday - and she did pretty well with that.
We ended the evening with cake and ice cream. Lisa went all out
with an eggless, wheatless, milkless, dyeless cake. Never had cake
with a beet dye frosting. I have to say, it was pretty darned good!
Overall, I'd say it was a successful, all-Hannah, all-the-time day!
Have a great week!
Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan and Hannah
