Hi Everyone,

I'm finally catching up on getting more pictures posted.  As you'll see, it wasn't the lack of taking them, just the lack of processing them and getting them posted! Since I'm behind, they are still in the same order - most recent at the top - but keep going down because I have pictures of Logan's birthday and Logan & Hannah's birthday party.

We had a good time at the pumpkin patch this year.  The kids were pretty decisive about the pumpkins they wanted.  Logan picked out the design of his pumpkin this year and surprise, surprise, chose the skull.  That boy and pirates lately.  He's loving the skull and crossbones.  I'm not sure what that says and honestly am afraid to think about it too deeply...

Logan was a ghost this year.  He's been wanting to be a ghost for most of the past 3 months.  He wanted to be able to scare people.  So at every door we went to (all of our neighbors), Logan got a big kick out of saying "Boo!" while I neighbors acted scared.  Logan had the biggest smile on his face.  Hannah went as a princess.  Sleeping Beauty, in particular, only because she's pink and that's Hannah's favorite color (of course!)

Logan was pretty excited to open all of his presents.  He exclaimed "This is the best birthday EVER!"  This year Logan had to learn the meaning of "patience".  His past 2 birthdays were on a Saturday and Sunday, but this year it was on a Monday.  That meant that Logan could open one present in the morning and had to wait until Daddy came home before he could open the rest.  He drove Lisa crazy all day asking "when is Daddy coming home?", "is Daddy coming home yet?", etc., etc.

When I finally got home from work, Logan didn't even say "Hi".  The first thing he said was "CAN I OPEN MY PRESENTS NOW?"

Logan and Hannah hosted a Pirates and Princesses party.  As you can see in some of the pictures, Logan gave us his best pirate face.  Throughout the day, all the boys were giving us their best "Arrrrghhh".

The little princesses had a great time too.

Hi Everyone,

Lisa's brother Chris and girlfriend Kate came to visit us for a few days earlier this week.  We all had a bunch of fun and I think Chris and Kate got a good balance of the kids, the beach, and the sites.  We capped their trip off by getting a babysitter and going out on a large sailboat, called The Freedom, and sailing around the bay.  It was beautiful weather and a great time to get out for some adult time - time we realize we don't get very often!  Some of these pictures were taken by Chris - so thanks, Chris!

Have a great week - Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi All,

Hannah had a great birthday.  She was all smiles.  Thanks to all that sent gifts.  She opened a few things in the morning and then we made her wait to open the lion's share after her nap in the afternoon.  We're cruel!  Once she was done with her nap, she was a present-ripping machine!

Lisa made "dirt cake" for her birthday cake.  A trial run for the kid's birthday party in a couple of weeks.  Turned out great and the kids loved it.

Have a great week - and check out the Disney pictures below as well!

Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi Everyone,

We just had a really good trip with the kids to Disney.  We left on Wednesday, stayed overnight at the Wilderness Lodge, and came back home on Thursday afternoon.  The trip worked out so well - the kids got to meet many characters, the chefs were able to accommodate their special diets, meaning that we got to have a meal out with Logan and Hannah as a family for the first time in over a year!  We were amazed at how the kids weren't scared of any of the characters.  Both Logan and Hannah jumped right in  with lots of hugs and smiles.  I thought for sure that Hannah would be very shy, but it appears that is only with humans - Disney characters apparently don't count.

As proof that Logan is still 4, he explained to me, after he gave Chip & Dale a hug, that all of the characters at Disney "weren't people dressed up in costume, but that they were the real animals."  I told him that was true, because where else would they live, if they didn't live at Disney?  Worked for him...
