Hi Everyone,  Linda came today, so it's been pretty exciting around our house.  Logan ran around like a wild man and then followed "Ganma" around the rest of the evening.  I snapped off a few pictures today to post.

Logan has been riding his tricycle around our block this week.  Tonight was his fourth time.  The first time around he pedaled as fast as he could.  Now, he's taking his sweet time.  I bolted a basket on the back of his trike today so Logan could carry along his essentials - like a cloth diadee, water bottle, etc.  Little did I realize that Logan would use his newfound "trunk" to stop along the road and put everything of "value" in it.  By the time we got home, we had a big leaf, a small stick, a stick with leaves, and pieces of palm tree bark.  Logan has turned into a roadside collector...

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi All,  It's been a fun past couple of weeks.  There were a lot of "firsts".  Logan went to a birthday party and hit the piņata and played "Stick the Magnetized Bone on Scooby Doo".  We were amazed - he's never been blindfolded before and he did great.  He was also around a lot of screaming kids, which he usually doesn't do well with, and as you can see in picture #3, he sat right down in the middle of a group of them and just hung out.  He was even hitting on one of the older ones.  Logan took his tricycle out front for the first time and had a ball with Lisa and Uncle Mike.  He rode his "bike" so much that he couldn't pedal any longer.  Even so, he had a crying fit when it was time to come inside...

Hannah's two bottom teeth are through (eighth picture), and she's really on her way to crawling.  It will really be inconsequential when she crawls since she can get herself from one end of the room to the other by pulling herself along the floor.  Her little legs just drag behind.  Logan and Hannah also visited Lisa's friend Suzi last week and Logan got a ride from Jakob in his truck.

It's neat to see Logan starting to interact with his friends more (like with Patrick in the first picture).  I was looking at a picture from Logan's school this morning and asked Logan who each person was in the picture and he knew them all by name.  Logan has really changed in the past month.  He's starting to speak in longer sentences  - using verbs and adjectives with his nouns - and we really think he's starting to understand our speech a little better.  Lisa and I are so excited that he's finally making a turn...

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi Everyone,  Hannah started pseudo-crawling this morning!  Maybe we'll call it "scooting".  She's able to pull herself along to get to something she wants, which is virtually everything that's on the floor right now.  She's also figured out she can spin and roll to get closer to things she wants.  Unfortunately, Logan has taken to grabbing whatever she's after and saying "Mine!".  He's not quite into the sharing thing yet...

As I'm writing this, Logan is supposed to be taking his nap.  I'm watching him on the monitor and see that he's not sleeping, but standing on the edge of his bed. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day.

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah
