November 2003 Archives

Hi All, Sorry that the website has been up and down this past week.  My ISP has been having some technical difficulties - hopefully everything is back on track.  I got the archives back up - they're hosted on our Macintosh at home, so it will probably be a little slow, but it's an experiment so we'll see how it goes!

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving.  We sure did, and I didn't burn the turkey Clark Griswald style this year!  We put it on the BBQ again and it turned out great.  As you'll see in the pictures below, the weather has been all over the place in St. Augustine.  On Friday we took Logan to the carousel park and it was somewhere in the high 70's.  On Saturday we went to an art fair and it was in the high 40's - yikes!  That's like 40-below Florida-chill (like windchill, handicapped for us thin-blooded Floridian wimps...)

Mom and Dad have been enjoying Logan and Hannah - and Lisa and I have enjoyed getting away from Logan and Hannah!  We got some good Christmas shopping done and we realized afterwards we really needed the break.  We took a bunch of pictures this past week.  Hannah has really started to smile the past couple of days.  I got in a good shot of her smiling at her grandpa - he has a real touch in getting her to smile!  They're going back to Iowa on Tuesday and we sure will hate to see them go.

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi Everyone, Here are a few pics from the week.  Logan has taken on the task of feeding himself a little bit more lately.  As you can see, he does a great job of it.  Hannah is starting to smile - but we're finding it's hard to capture the moment - those smiles come and go quick!

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi All,  It's been a busy weekend.  I've been trying to take advantage of some beautiful weather and available sunlight to get some painting done outside.  Nothing too exciting - just some trim around some new windows we had put in.  Mike came down on Saturday to take care of the kids so Lisa and I could go to a fundraiser put on by JSL - a service league Lisa belongs to.  We had a great time - it's been awhile since we've gotten out like that.  I put a picture of us in our "duds" in the Our Family page.

Hannah has been doing great.  She's getting a few more expressions on her chubby little face.  She slept 7 straight hours a couple of nights ago - could be a fluke, so I don't want to jinx it!  Logan is still a little quick on the temper trigger - not sure what that is all about.  He was pretty good this weekend though - no major tantrums that I can think of.  We're begining to understand what the "terrible 2's" are all about...

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi Everyone, it's been a stomach flu week this week - Logan got it on Friday, Lisa on Saturday and Rich on Sunday.    So it's been fun, fun, fun at our house!  Hannah has been great so far, so hopefully it goes past her.  Lisa got some great pictures of Logan and Hannah together this past week, as you'll see below.  Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah

Hi All,  With mixed emotions I'm combining Logan and Hannah's page into one.  I know myself well enough to know that if I don't keep it simple it won't get it done - so here it is - Logan and Hannah's Page!

Everyone has been doing well except me this past week.  I was stricken with the flu for the past 8 days - thank goodness no one has caught it besides me.  I use the word "stricken" because it has taken me down and body slammed me hard.  I don't do well sick if you can't tell!

Anyhoo, Logan and Hannah have been doing great.  I swear Hannah is getting chunkier every day.  She's getting those folds around her arms and legs - she'll be a Michelin baby in no time.

We trick-or-treated in our neighborhood this year.  Logan was a puppy, or at least a puppy body since the hat didn't fit right and Hannah was a pea pod.  I must say, Hannah was a whole lot better pea than Logan ever was - that costume was made for her - she slept through the whole experience.  Logan was Mr. Shy Boy at our neighbors' - he clung to my leg the whole time!

Have a great week!  Love, Rich, Lisa, Logan & Hannah
